Gen1 Difference

I have been doing some searching and I am seeing different part numbers for the 94-96 Camry, and the 97-01 Camry? I was under the impression that the Camry, Avalon and Solara all shared teh same V6 engine and suspension up to 2001, was I wrong? I am in the market for Springs( as close to 2" drop as I can get), shocks/struts(Tokico has a combo), a SRI ( was looking at Weapon R), and an upper strut bar. Like I said I HAVE been searching, so please don't tell me to search!!! I will continue searching, but just wanted to know about the different part numbers I was finding, thanks.. Oh, I drive a 95 Avalon XL, by the way

The body style changed in 1997. The 1997-2001 versus the 92-96 years get different part numbers.

the intake and strut bar should fit fine. another member recently made a good suggestion. go onto an OEM toyota parts websites and compare the part numbers between the parts for the camry/solara/avalon of the year your looking at and that will give a definate answer. i think the struts are the same in which case you will just have to factor in the added weight for the avalon. best option would be to go with coilovers what actually have that height adjustment and will account for the added weight.

Sounds good guys, I would love some coilovers but don't know if I can spend that much on a good set like the Ksport, and it obviously makes no sense buying crappy ones...............
