4th Generation Rear bumper cover removal

Ok so I searched and found this thread on how many nuts there are to remove it.

97 Camry Rear Bumper Cover

I don't know how to pop the 3 on the underside out without breaking them. I used a flathead screwdriver but they only budge a little. How did you guys do it? I have a gen 4.5 by the way.

Thanks in advance

Use some more force. If you break them, just replace them with new ones. They're cheap.

And if I do break them, where would I find replacement? Home depot?

i pop the center out completely, then pull the other half of the plastic out. My bumper rattled at the bottom, so i got a few washers, a nut, and a bolt. no one is gonna see the underside of my car.

Auto parts stores should have similar products.

The dealer would have them, for not too much.

You could also do as above, and just bolt it back in to make it easier to remove next time. No one will look.

Pep Boys, Kragens, Auto Zone should have them. I needed a plastic clip that connected rods to the door handle. 1993 pickup, dealer did not have anymore. Kragens has a section which had all kinds of clips.
