No performance gain or benefit unless you have a turbo. I installed one just for the fun of it. it's been a year now. A/F ratio...IDK, delete your EGR?

Yes, get a wideband O2. Monitor it from there. Get a custom tune form a shop that can do so. Get a piggy-back ecu system or a standalone. Unless you are turbo or SC there is no real need for it. We have econo-boxes not race cars. Well most of us that is.

Actually, the catch can, if you get a proper one like Moroso or Saikou Michi with an internal baffle/filter it will keep oil vapor from venting back into the intake and pcv. It works for both FI and NA. And IIRC my 5sfe always had a bit of oil residue in the intake pipe.

A standard catch can will catch some vapor but it sill allows fumes to go straight thru because there is nothing obstructing their path. Vapor goes in, vapor comes out. They're just hollow cans.
A useful catch can will have an internal baffle which creates more surface area to help collect the fumes as droplets.

I have the Saikou Michi DC3 dual can setup - http://www.saikoumichi.com/DC3_page.htm
I had mine custom made with brass NPT fittings at both inlets and outlets. I was seeing a considerable amount of oil on the suck side of my SC. Even tho no can, even with baffles, will prevent blow-by my intake pipe is now pretty damn close to dry.

The can itself is tiny. Its like two soda cans, but maybe an inch or so taller. I empty them every 5k mi when I change the oil and the valve cover can is usually about half way full and the pcv can is maybe 1/8-1/4th full.

A proper catch can looks like this -

There are no performance gains.

I'll snap a pic of mine asap.

You can tune NA on a piggy back or full EMS but you won't get much noticeable power from a 5sfe or 1mz Camry. The gearing, especially in the auto, is what makes it a slug.
