Canada 2000 camry drl?

hey im working on a project on my camry which requires me to kill the drl, anyone know the best was to do this? any help would be great thanks.

I did find a relay that i can remove, but it leaves me with just one highbeam, if this is my only option i might just do that and jump the other highbeam with a relay...

Free bump, that's a clean ride you have buddy!! The main relay for the DRL's on a gen 3 is located right below the dash, near the steering column. Im not sure where it is for the Gen 4 thought... Check out the wiring diagram for a Gen 4 on this website, it should help ya out! You want to disable the main DRL relay:

hey thanks, ill check it out. do you know right off hand if the high beams will still work if the main relay is disconected once i find it....

Offhand, I don't know unfortunately... But I would tend to say they would work since most US cars are rolling around without that relay and circuit, maybe someone else can chime in and confirm this??

4th Generation

All that is did to disable my drls was unplug the resistor that is located in the upper left hand corner of the engine bay. It says " danger HOT" or something like that. Or you can take pin number 23 of of connector D6 if you are absolutly sure its a 2000.
