Question Will Ignition (sparkplugs) cables of 1988-1991 I4 Camry Fit I4-1994 ?

Hi, Thank you for answering this new question I have:

Do you know if the Ignition (spark-plugs) cables of a 1988 - 1991 4 Cyl. camry will fit on my 1994 4cyl Camry ?

I saw someone selling their unused Tune Up Kit so before I make an offer and drive up, I thought maybe someone here know

Again thanks.

I sort of doubt it -- the seals for the valve cover on the 3S-FE (the Gen2) were round, the ones for the 5S-FE (the Gen3) were square. In a pinch you could probably kludge something to make it work, but I wouldn't pay cash money for the privilege of doing so...

The thing is my cables (blue) terminal looks clean. So changing them will increase the over-all performance by a whopping 0.0005% based on my estimate.

But one of the outer plastic clams of the cable connector (near the rotor-cap) is broken, since last October.

Maybe I can secure it the ghetto way, somehow, some way, when weather is warm again.

Just got off the phone with Partsouces (equivalent of US-Autozone):

Cables only:

Champion: $72+14 % tax
NGK: $95+14 % tax

Also called Napa:
$88.90 + tax brand Beldin (napa-own).

perhaps i am compeltely wrong, but i think your store has astronomical pricing...

what NGK wireset model fit your car ? NGK TE62 ?

check it here on NGK website, there is too many models of '94 i4 camry listed, not sure what so different about them since they all share same engine ...
http://www.ngksparkplugs.com/part_fi...uv/default.asp

NGK TE62 on US amazon is for $37.95 with free shipping (us only probably).
Amazon Amazon

Take NGK if you can, they are best value for quality and same performance as OEM.

Most stores won't ship to Canada, or will but the shipping will be $25US minimum. And if they use UPS, then UPS like to take to the custom to have duty paid (USPS won't from what people wrote, and people bought $40 or $50 products).

Why UPS do so? Because they will charge the receiver for that and an additional fee, Of course. So more supplemental income for them...

well ... if you have someone in US order it and ship to them and let them resend it to you with USPS ... or if planning a trip to state of New York, just visit Syracuse, NY and go to Advance Auto Parts and get the NGK wireset from them for not much more. i know they carry NGK TE58 wireset, not sure about TE62 though...

Advance Auto Parts - Store 6133
2016 ERIE BOULEVARD EAST
SYRACUSE,NY 13224-1039
315-423-8174

just an idea ... maybe there are other stores closer to the border, i don't know. just thinking out loud.
