I'm driving the EXACT car...rims, paint, model. I gotta do a engine mount switch then get a new down pipe...sigh. Anywas looks clean and in good shape, mines a 1992 and the wheel wells are going.

haha cool! For me, after i do repaint i might be going for a drop! Hope it doesn't look too weird on these rims. Getting tired of the 4-5 finger gap between the wheel and the car.

I think it'll look all right, you'd be amazed all of the "dayum"'s I get with my 92 merely because the paint is that clean

3rd Generation

sigh..so much money is involved when trying to fix this baby up. i just hope its totally worth it. Even tho its going to look clean after the repaint, the car still gonna look pretty much stock. its like if a g35 driver pulls up right next too my camry, they wouldnt even bother to stare at it. i doubt ill get the "dayum" b/c its still a moms car . but this is toyota nation were we actually have pride in our camry! so im going to have alittle hope on how this car is going to turn out

Have you tried getting a buffer, a few pads and some polshing compound yet?

It might restore the shine to the oxidized paint.

If that was my car I would use the money from the paint job to Drop the car, tint, bronze wheels, and exhaust. But that's just me.

What does your paint job include? Just base coat and clear coat? I think 15"-16" wheels on your Camry if you are not lowering it. If you are then I think 17"-18" will look good. Bronze, gold, Silver, those are all the color wheels I put on my Camry and they all look good.

the paint job includes front and rear bumper replacement aswell as 3 layers of base paint and 2 clear coats. my front bumper has a hole on the right corner as you can see in the pic. im also thinking of lowering it on tenzo R springs and tokico shocks. it mostly depends on my wallet tho. i really really want a new set of rims but their so expensive for a set, so ill be riding on stock rims for awhile.

Suspension mods, and rims before paint, and body is like wearing $500 dress shoes with second-hand swap-meet sweats. It's just tacky IMO. Paint & body 1st. Then start the mods.
