so, with the joy of having a 5speed, i'm thinking of getting some better pedal pads for the feet.
however, there are sooo many kinds of those products out there and so many knockoffs made in my village, it's just impossible to decide.
i have however, found two different styles i think i'll like, but i'm open to different opinions.
here are the two styles i like
RAZO GT SPEC
MOMO
what other brands are there that makes good pedals?
i need something that doesn't slip and easy to install.
also, i really really want a pair of front racing tow hooks. i want to stick them where our fog light cut out is on the bumper. i think it would look pretty darn sweet.
well as far as peddles youd want the ones with the most grip, so the MOMOs would be best. but unless you do alot of racing they are just gonna look good. cept for thoes heal-toe moments.
as for the tow hook. your gonna have to find a structure to install a mount. thats another piece i dont see being neccissary unless you race alot or are dumped.
Do the gen 3's not have front hooks? I think those look pretty awesome though! I might slap some D shackles on my rear end, since the gne 4's don't have rear hooks and I've needed them!
Front hooks help a lot, but the ones on the gen 4 are too tiny for a hook to go in.
As for the pedals, I've always thought they looked tacky UNLESS you have the rest of your interior modded out.
If you have a stock interior, pedals just look out of place.
i never really bothered with pedals until i stepped on them one day with some water on my shoes i slipped pretty bad.
afterwards i checked out my pedals and the rubber on the pedal is deteriorated pretty badly...metal is showing and it obviously has been stepped on a lot...especially the clutch.
i see a lot of civics with their pimped out chrome blue pedals rofl....those are tacky as hell.

momos are so expensive though lol. i'm gonna see if ebay has any good offerings.
tow hook is a far shot, cuz a thought popped in my mind that instead of throwing fogs in that tight spot...tow hooks would look lovely as well.
i know they are of no use 99% of the time, but i just wanted to throw on a pair just for the coolness lol

yea i find stock tow hooks very small and located too far in to be of any use.
i remember when i just started driving...like 6 years ago...i was bad at parking and always parking in too far and those tow hooks would hit the curb and make a huge crash noise and my dad would yell at me.
I know this post is slightly old but i'll comment anyways. I honestly like the first set of pedals, while MOMO provides a higher quality i'm not as happy with the looks but if your going for quality i would get a good set of MOMO's. P/O.
As for the hooks great idea i love it lol! Although its not as though you'll use them much but in the event you do it would be great plus gives you that racing/rally look.
i had some then they ended up in the trash my clutch GRABS right off the floor so the space they needed to fit over on the back wouldn't let my clutch out
