3rd Generation possibility???

1994 toyota camry American Made

im just throwing it out there but is it possible i have had alot of engine trouble and to fix my car with new parts is unreasonably high priced. is it possible to fix my car with a Geo Prism possibly?? and the problem i am having is an overheatting issue whenever i go above 55 the vehicle overheats and all my coolant spits out my over flow i am going threw the process of flushing my radiator then i will be doing a water pump fix any idea on how long the water pump would take to remove and replace? just throw me an average if possible and im a first time DIY'er

Time to replace water pump roughly a day for a complete beginner -- it's basically the same amount of work as a timing belt change.

Geo Prizm...not likely...the Prizm was more-or-less a Toyota Corolla...not a lot of crossover to the Cam.

If you have a u-pull junkyard in your area, they're good for a lot of parts. For water pumps, a Aisin (Toyota OEM) from ebay is usually a good choice, and reasonably priced. Toyota thermostat and t-stat gasket are pretty reasonable as-is, and they work well. Radiator...Koyorad makes an excellent radiator, although you can get ebay radiators for dirt cheap, and sometimes they work OK.
