Brake Conversion Question

I know all of these things have been discussed here at least a few times, so I hope this question isn't annoying.

For my own information, I'd like to come up with a price estimate for the following:

1) Replace front calipers with dual-piston
2) Convert rear drum brakes to single piston disc brakes

Could someone tell me what components I would need to do these things? I remember something about a caliper bracket from the es300, but I can't remember if that was for dual piston or rear conversion. I just want to make sure I get this right.

For the rear:

I think your 2000 has the V6 size brakes already, so you just need the calipers, caliper brackers, and pads for the front.

So, the 1996 ES300 Caliper does not fit for the front? One of those threads mentioned 92 LS400 Calipers with 96 ES300 Brackets. I'm curious though if that 96 ES300 Caliper w/ Bracket will fit. That definitely would be easier and cheaper.

Second question, I was looking at this link: http://camryperformance.com/DIY/Rear_Drum_to_Disc.html

Can somebody please tell me what happened between the following two photos?

http://i192.photobucket.com/albums/z...4/IMG_3350.jpg

and

http://i192.photobucket.com/albums/z...4/IMG_3351.jpg

The text reads, "Slide the backing plate back onto the knuckle." However, the backing plate he's putting "back" on is completely different than the original photo. What's going on there?

EDIT: Ok, so after reading one of the other threads, it looks like ES300 backing plates have to be used?
