3rd & 4th Generation (1992–1996 & 1997–2001)Toyota Camry Discussion for years: 1992-1996 & 1997-2001
Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
Okay, you've probably had your guesses now (and they're probably all wrong :P)
Well, one of my friends offered to buy my Camry for $3.5k cash
Now, obviously I didn't sell her despite the good offer, she's my girl after all
But it got me thinking... What would a Gen3 V6 Manual be worth on today's market? I don't trust/like KBB, so I'm asking my fellow TN'ers for their 2-cents (or maybe even 5 cents) worth on this.

^ agreed. if i knew nothing about these cars i wouldnt offer any more then 2500 mint, in which case parting it would net more money. our cars are becoming worth their weight in mantainance savings and parts. even if i decided tomarow to sell my car...i would not just sell it. it would be worth far more in parts then it would even here as is.
Yeah, agreed bigbird. My old camry I bought for $700. When I did my swap, I made $1500 off of parts from that same car, and still have half a car left to sell!

That was my logic. Plus, I'm pretty attached to my car, I don't think I'd like to see her being hooned by one of my friends lol.
I figured that people on TN would offer a bit more than regular buyers, because they know how rare a 5-speed is. These cars are incredibly well built though (My dad's got an E46 3-series, and I frankly prefer riding in the Camry to riding in that thing. Interior seems more tightly built, plus there's the legroom factor).
