Ignition Cylinder 1996 Camry LE

I recently had a new ignition cylinder installed. Now when I turn off the car and take the key out the ignition, The ignition beeps as if the keys were in the ignition and won't let the doors lock. What could be the problem?

Whoever replaced the cylinder didn't connect the "Unlock Warning Switch" back up or installed it incorrectly. It's a bitty little microswitch.

THEY TOLD ME THAT IT IS THE DRIVER SIDE DOOR LOCK ACUATOR THAT IS THE PROBLEM. I CAN'T LOCK THE CAR FROM THE DRIVER'S SIDE BUT CAN LOCK ALL DOORS FROM PASSENGER SIDE IS THAT RIGHT? BUT WITH THE KEYS OUT OF THE IGNITION THE CHIME IS STILL ON LIKE THE KEYS ARE IN THE IGNITION. I'M CONFUSED THAT IF THE OLD CYLINDER WORK FINE NOW WHY IS IT A PROBLEM NOW. ANY SUGGESTIONS
