is it my car or my speaker?

just a couple of days ago i started hearing a rattling noise coming out of my rear left 6x9.

doesnt come out of my rear right one.

it kinda sounds like a screw is bouncing around in the driver, but looking through the stock grilles i couldnt see anything that looked like it was bouncing around.

anyone have an idea on what it could be? i would remove the parcel shelf but the car is being used in about half an hour.

Your definitive test is gonna be to remove the deck and check the speaker with a multimeter. A blown speaker doesn't do jack.

i have same problem too and i just replace my rear speaker and the rattle sound is gone. so i think it might be your rear speaker. for the bass, i'm not sure if still can produce bass. i have subwoofer so i can't tell the different.

Replacement speakers are easy btw. You can get a cheap single one at autozone, or go for a pair of walmart/target/bestbuy speakers.

I think it is for sure a blown speaker. I have that same rattling noise whenever a song has a heavier bass in my left front speaker. I know for sure mine is blown, just by listening to the overall demeanour of the speaker. Sounds like a replacement is your best bet as Lynchburg said
