99 Camry sound system specs.?

What's up TN,

I have a 99 Camry LE, US built. All stock sound system (double din cd/cass/radio with 6 x 9 in the rear and the 6.5 up front with separate tweeters behind side mirrors).

Both 6 x 9s are blown, and I'd like to replace them.

Does anyone know the power ratings for the radio and speakers?

I just want to replace the rears.

I'd like to know the peak and RMS ratings on the speakers, what ohms they run, 2? 4?

and how many watts the radio produces per channel, I'm guessing it would be a 6 channel set-up, unless the fronts are considered 1 channel (per side).

Any help would be appreciated. I only found a toyota part number on the rears and a "Korea" stamp.

Well you have premium sound, since you have the tweeters. Other than that, I really don't know much. Try looking around The12Volt.com and http://www.**********s.com/camry/ and http://www.toyotareference.com/ for wiring systems.

the stock premium stereo is not very powerful and probably produces no more then an aftermarket head unit.

I think they are all 4 ohms speakers tho.. however u can run either 2 or 4 really. may make the amp get a lil hot. But i do keep thinking the front set might be 2ohm already.

But ya probably 50w per channel i would say max on that... and the speakers probably max out at about that power.. probably less. all and all it is weak.
