My 1994 camry with 3.0 is overheating in the area where the belts are at. I would call this the front of the engine. I cant find my repair book but i wanted to ask it is where the the water pump is? I know I'm probably asking a dumb question. I recent replaced the water tranfer hose that was split.It's the one underneath the intake. any help will be appreciated.

When you say overheating, do you mean leaking? If you can't see any coolant on the top area of the engine that can run down around that area, then you probably have a leaking water pump seal. The timing belt, tensioner, idlers and water pump are all replaced as a set. This should be done as regular maintenance (check your owner's manual for the change intervals)
