Cool Gen 3/4 Official Slammed Thread

Fully threaded coilovers (DO NOT USE SLEEVE OVER TYPE) are the only way to get these cars low since they are boats stock. Of course, Hydros and air work also but are more costly. A proper spring and strut setup is not going to cut it. Below is a list of coilovers that will dump your Camry:

BC Racing BR Type w/ Extreme Low Kit
KSport Kontrol Pro (1st gens)
D2s
Megan Racing Street Series (be sure to ask for shorter front springs)
JIC FLT-A2 with shorter Swift or Hyperco springs
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
10-15-10 EDIT: anyone that can stand up their OEM key, preferrably the all metal one, on the frame rails behind the front wheels will be added below.
Who will be #5?

Official current slammed members:

No photoshop or editing here.

If your car has similar clearance under the front frame, please post a pic!

hmm that's interesting. You seem pretty slammed yet you still have such a large wheel gap?

gen 4's are like that.. the frames hang so low- its not actually the body that we'd go by but the frames itself.. even then we wouldn't looked slammed just yet.

gen3 and 4s are like that. the frame rails hang REAL low to begin with so a slamed camry is almost undriveable. anyone under 2 inches has trouble with basic road terrain issues, liek speed bumps or angled entrances.

I bottom out almost every garage parking in Atlanta. I rarely drive the Camry downtown now.
