Some Urgent Questions - drippy engine, gasket or silicone?

Ever since my engine swap I've been slowly fixing all the small leaks here and there.

Now that my major leaks are fixed and the oil and grime is being cleaned out from the bottom, I've noticed that the oil pan gasket is leaking pretty badly.
It was covered by all the sludge before that it was pretty hard to see, but now that it's obvious I want to fix it asap.

So I called the dealers and was told that the 3VZ-FE engine never came with an oil pan gasket...it was always silicone gasket maker...

however, i was looking through ebay and found this

looks like felpro makes an oilpan gasket for the 3VZ

which is better? silicone gasket maker or felpro gasket?

If you can get the mating surfaces baby's-butt clean (both of the old FIPG / silicone and any contaminants), FIPG seals better than a gasket. The big downside is that you have to give it time to cure.

Felpro gasket with permatex on both sides. Nothing will get past that shit, haha.

i just picked up the silicone today...gonna get it done tomorrow

forget the gasket, it'll cost me twice as much as the gasket to ship it over.
