A faulty battery can sometimes cause the engine to stall.

i say take it out to your local part shop that does free battery and alternator testing, if you think it might be a load issue then check it out

Clean the throttle body and especially the idle air control valve. A dirty idle air control valve can cause the problem you are experiencing. Here's a post on how to do it on the 5SFE engine. It's for a later version than your's, but it should be exactly the same:

How to: Cleaning Throttle Body -4 Cylinder Engines- With Pictures

thank you guys, i will let the mechanic check the battery.

actually during the daytime, after engine warm up, it will stall once or two, then switched to "safe mode" or "Default mode". another 5 hours, running great. so wired.

yeah, I would say clean out the IAC, it's fairly easy and doesn't run any risk.

Edit: your engine might have a little problem starting up at first with all that stuff in the IAC but it should be good once it's all clean up. Oh and it's going to smoke a bit too at first, take a few minutes before everything settle down.

If cleaning out the IAC valve doesn't solve the problem, I would next check the coil inside the distributor. They can cause problems as they get lot's of miles on them and can fail when they heat up. To do this you will need a digital volt/ohmeter and the specs from any manual. If you don't have a manual you can download one for free at the top of the Camry forum over at AutomotiveForums.com. The manuals are stickied there at the top of that forum's home page. Also inspect the coil for hairline cracks.
