3rd Generation 'Nother 3VZFE overheating problem

I have read several of the posted threads on overheating and through elimination have come to the conclusion the new head gasket not sealing properly.----1994 [see sig for more specs] New most everything, timing belt kit, head gaskets, heads surfaced and pressure checked good, etc. including a new [tested] thermostat, rad caps and radiator. About everything including a new fan switch. It still overheats after ~3 minutes of 2-3k rpm running in driveway or about a mile of driving-30-35/55 mph same result, about a mile and water [no antifreeze until fixed] spurts out overflow into can, overflowing it. A/C condenser allows air flow, heater blows hot.

So my question is, how do you determine which head is bad? And how do you repair it? I know if a cracked head just replace it, but they pressure checked good????Is this a block issue? Used Felpro gaskets so they should be good.

The post from The Camry Man on 3-26-2010 was very informative however I am still confused on the repair of a seemingly small leak causing massive problems. Detest redoing what has already been done if the results will be the same-good money after bad if you know what I mean.

BTW FWIW a close friend has a Toyota cab and chassis with almost the same problem, he has not started his quest for repair.

that sounds pretty quick to over heat, water pump?

if you get the combustion leak test kit, you can disconnect the spark plugs on one head and crank it untill the liquid turns yellow.

Water pump is new and replaced with timing belt kit.
I am not following the logic on disconnecting the spark plugs and crank until the strip turns yellow........would that indicate the side still 'sparking' would be the bad side?
[Still early in AM for me]

Just got off the phone with an 'old timer' that has decades of experience working on Toyotas and foreign cars who suspects a clogged cooling system-in the block, from 'stopleak'. Which is entirely possible. He walked me thru the cleanout procedure which I will describe after successful completion.

Fingers crossed!!!!
