HI...my first post but have been lurking for a while. Would like to ask a question on transmission noise I have had for a while. I have a 2001 Camry, V6 with automatic and about 192,000 Km's on it. When I first start my car in the morning and put it into either drive or reverse, a groaning noise comes from the tranny. It lasts for about 2km's and then disappears, almost like once it has warmed up it's gone. There are no problems shifting,driving, everything works as it should. Tranny fluid has been changed as per Toyota's recommended schedule. Any thoughts or ideas?

Groaning loud like an old Saturn?

My 96 5S-FE has a humming noise like a noisy solenoid. Only when then engine is cold and then goes away as soon as it shifts into 2nd. I can only hear it if the window is down.
