97 camry problems

Hi Guy,
So i took my car to the garage to get it fixed since it would not start turned out i needed to replace the idler pulley and timing belt.Did all that and as soon as i left the garage the car shut down.
Just wanted to know what could have caused that and if the mechanics did something wrong.

thanks for any answers

Yeah they messed up installing your new timing belt.

Take it back to them.

Yep, either the garage messed up on the repair work, or they thought the timing belt and tensioner was the problem when, in fact, it could have been something else. Likely they just messed up on their work and they will need to resolve it.

So we took it back to the garage(Towed) earlier and the car started all of a sudden then we drove it around a bit to see what the problem could be and it seems the car is not taking the gas so well and then it turned off. So it's weird it turns off then back on after a few minutes.
For sure they messed up installing something but i wonder what since its turning on and off.

thanks any help with be nice since i am going early in the morning to see the car..
