99 camry clear corners

I live in in the Tampa area and was thinking about buy front clear corners but wanted to make sure if they were legal or not? of course I'd get amber bulbs but I didn't know if the reflector part of it made it legal/illegal? or where i might find it in the local vehicle codes on the law enforcement website.

Federal DOT regulations requires amber reflectors on each front corner within a certain height of the centher of the headlights. It does not need to be in the corner lights, just anywhere around the area, or sides of the car.

It really depends on your area, whether they really enforce that since a lot of people are getting those kinds of aftermarket corner lights.
Around here in Houston, people still pass safety inspections and no one I know has gotten pulled over for having no yellow reflectors yet.
If you want to play it safe, you can put on small yellow reflectors on the sides of your car around the same general area, or even on the fender like some other cars have stock.

I did the research when I was looking into getting them for my 2000 Camry since I have bad luck with cops and getting pulled over for small stuff like that.
I got a warning to remove my blue cathodes lighting that I had in the front grille, didn't know at the time it's illegal to have any light color other than white to amber in the front. I've seen plenty of other people pass by cops with the same set up and I was the only one who got the warning.

seriously? cops around here dont care i lived in tampa and now st.pete never had an issue with anything like or hear about it, the closest i seen the cops care about any mods to a car was noise from an open exhaust gto, i hear of noise issues to with loud systems but, i have clear corners in my gen 3 for a year nothing, actually i had the corner lamp missing for like 3 years and nothing happened

dude if i didn't get pulled over for that little incident a couple nights ago you shouldn't worry about the clear corners man lol jk i think you should get a new right headlight and the clear corners an youll be good to go

i have them and i have the sylvania blue bulbs that blink amber and ive never had any problems

go for it... i highly doubt a cop would give a ticket over that. probably just a warning at the most but even if he does pull you over for something like that then he's just being a dick
