When you said the rear wheel shakes when off the ground, do you mean when you have it jacked up in back, you can physically grab the wheel and shake it up and down, back & forth?
Assuming this is what you mean (your not driving the car at high speeds over large bumps to lift the rear wheels off the ground, right?), I would be very, very cautiuous on driving it any more until you replace the rear bearing assembly.
Now, you can buy a new bearing and have a machine shop press out the old bearing and press in the new. For almost the same cost of the bearing, you cal also buy a bearing & hub assembly. Most automotive parts stores would have either for you. The removal process is easy. If you have drums in back, just remove the rear wheel, remove the drum, and then take out the 4 bolts holding your current bearing/hub assembly on (you don't even need to remove your brake hardware).
