Finally extended my SRI to CAI. My UltraGauge previously read about 90°+ with the SRI installed, sometimes even 110°+ on hot days in stop/go traffic. With the CAI piping, it's typically 6-12° warmer than ambient temperatures (according to the thermometer in the car). For some reason, I noticed considerably more torque, especially in the lower RPM's.

Also picked up some slotted rotors but I'm not sure if I'll be installing them lol. Carbotech/Porterfield pads and SS brake lines to come in the future.

Finally got title from state it is a 'Rebuild Title.' 1994 Camry with security package: VIN on Original body parts. Where did the ECM threads go now that I have the water pump and timing belt replaced? Looking for a programmable ECM for 5SFE 94 has no eeprom I looked as it is a junk yard car.

I got another camry a few days ago. Third camry, first wagon! It's a 94 LE wagon. It wasn't running when I bought it. Paid a grand, which isnt too bad. I had a hunch all it needed was a coil to get it running. New coil, spark plugs, and an air filter and its running pretty well. It still has a slight miss so I might swap the igniter with a spare I have in the garage. It still needs a little work and tlc, as it has 360k miles on it..... but it's just a project car.

where did you get the LED from? your white LEDs look wayyyy better than mine. mine looked really bright in the beginning but 4 months later (aka, now) they look dim and bluish.
any fix on that?

I picked all of the LEDs up from superbrightleds. I used WLED-x5 194 bulbs for the instrument cluster. I originally used a larger bulb (I think a 13 SMD LED), but it was too tall to install the gauges over. For the A/C console I used WLED-xHP9, 74-xHP, 74-xHP3, and NEOx-xHP.

I am really happy with how the A/C console turned out, but there are some bright and dim spots on the instrument cluster that are barely noticeable in real life but don't appear at all in the photo.

my instrument cluster is now more of a bluish white, and i don't like that. ill try to take a photo of it (with my new wiper blades - rain-x latitude, pepboys selling them now with buy 1 get 1 free rebate) if i remember.

i see you're in SD, if i still get get the A/C console off, can you help me out when i visit SD. not sure when though... i have friends at UCSD hahaha

3rd Generation Frontal Blub Replacements!

Citing that I had the Right hand Frontal Corner Blub burned up, I wasted no time and visited the closest Auto Parts Store and bought two and replaced both Frontal Corner Lights!

The removal and replacement was super easy!

First, a picture showing the present day mileage!

Everything lights up perfect now!

4th Generation

Adressed a few issues:

Noisy blower motor:
- solved - removed glove box and blower motor, found mouse nest in blower motor, removed.

Front seats chatter when driving over bumpy roads:
- solved - both bolts on the bottom of each seat back became loose over time, i managed to get a 1/4 in drive ratch with a 12mm socket in between the lower seat and back cushons and tighted down all 4.

Suspension noise coming from the rear on newer monroe quickstruts:
- solved - removed rear deck and side seat cushons and checked the torque on the mount nuts and center strut nut and found all 8 not torqued to spec, one very loose, retorqued and all is quiet.

also found yet another mouse nest under the rear deck... something tells me that this car sat around for a while in someones driveway at some point in its life.
