You did NOT say you wanted to do a swap. You have to be more specific when asking questions. You need a LOT more then just the tranny. You need the pedals, master cylinder, clutch line, shifter, cables.

And 5SFE or 3VZ-FE engine? I don't think you have any idea what your getting into.

Dude. ASG14 is probably the BEST gen 3 camry guy here... and you probably just lost him. Way to go. IMO, no one answer.

Ok, here it is in a nutshell.

You ask a question, wanting to do a 5 speed swap. Yet, you do not even MENTION it's a swap.

You tell ME how to read minds, and I will do the swap for you.

Now, we BOTH know that will not be happening, right?

Ask CLEAR questions. Don't think we'll be able to know what your thinking. It;s like asking, "Why won't my car start?" And expecting us to know what is wrong, with no other information given. Info is the key, Give it, get the help you need. Thats all there is to it.

Please restate EVERYTHING you want to do, and THEN, at that point, we can guide you in the right direction, and help you through what you need to do. Details and clear questions. Thats the Key,

One thing Ive always suggested and seen many times in forums first and foremost is to use the search button first for looking at what you want to do.

More then likely with all the posts just in this forum alone it has been covered. Then after searching if you havent found it and or you just arent typing in the right query, it has happened, you ask and as ASG said, be clear about asking your question.

Most times when posting, you should included but not limit it too

Problem what it is isnt doing
Car type model engine size
tranny 5 spd or auto

You pretty much get the picture of where Im going with this. Then be clear in what you are saying asking. It will let the others know what you want, need and or trying to do and also help them to help you better diagnose your vehicle.

Yes it's possible. But easier and cheaper to buy a new car.

Easiest way will be buy a wrecked V6 with the 5 speed in it already.

AND a whole host of other things. as mentioned before a good search will yeild alot of info. also check out solaraguy.com, some good info there too. TRD4life was selling trannys for pretty cheap and may still have one...you should PM him. I will say it is MUCH easier to jsut find 92-93 SE then a swap...you just have to have the money ready and be patient.
