Exhaust System Question???

Im getting closer to installing the 5sfte setup on my camry. Im going for more of stealth as far as sound(and look) from my exhaust set up. Looking for a quiet setup where you hear the quiet rummble. I purchased a Vibrant Muffler 3" straight through, as well as a Magnaflow 3" highflow cat. Wondering if this would produce the sound i want or should i purchase a 3" resonator as well?

PICS..............

That might be bit raspy at higher RPM but that should sound great at lower and mid range.

thaaaats gonna be loud. youll need a couple resonators to quiet that down. I have a 2.5" catback with 2 resonators, stock cat, headers and Ypipe and the V6 is usually quieter then the 4cyl...and its pretty loud.

That's what I was thinking I might have to add the resonator to muffle that.

the one thing i did forget is that the turbo will quiet it down quite a bit too. but for as quiet as you want id say definatly 1 big resonator.

get a very large resonator that is not a straight through.

i have y-pipe, hi-flo cat, 2 vibrant straight through resonators, 18" magnaflow muffler and it's still loud but bearable.

use a V6 camry muffler, avalon muffler, IS300 muffler, or Supra turbo muffler. then you will get the sleeper sound.

Well since you're going turbo, don't use a cat.
I heard Vibrant mufflers were more quite than other brands, but I was only told...

No Cat?

Could i get away with two Res's. I mean I could see where that would apply for a v6, but the i4? I just dont want any unbearable noise. Spool is fine though

From what I've heard, "turbo" catalytic converters are marketed as turbo and are no different than n/a ones, just the size. As far as resonators go, no one in my area uses one and their cars sound fine. May be a little bit loud, but it's a turbo. Turbo exhausts usually have a lower tone and more throaty.
Plus its more money and more restriction to get either one anyway.
