oil leak somewhere around the timing belt....

95 5sfe. I'm having a oil leak somewhere around the lower passenger side of the engine. What do i need to replace? I believe it's the result of a false oil seal and the additives cleaned it out(maybe)

sounds like the leak i had on my 1993 camry, it was the oil pump seal, one garage quoted me $1300-$1500, i found a garage that did job and even changed the timing belt for $260

shop around for the best price and if it is the oil pump seal leaking see if your timing belt needs to be replaced since they have to take it off anyways to do the job.

Oil pump o-ring, o-pump seal, crankshaft seal, camshaft seal -- they're all in that area, and they all will leak after a while. The oil pump o-ring tends to be the first to go (under the greatest pressure, I guess).
