Hey everyone. this is my first post. ... anyways, i need to find a CAI asap. the reason being that my stock intake hose is ripped. so its held bogether by duct-tape as of now. lol. i have a 1994 Camry Wagon. V6 1MZ. now i kno that AEM made a CAI for 94-95 camry's BUT...> they discontinued
them...thus not able to find one ANYWHERE! anyone know where to get 1? (and no...NONE of the websites online have them. they all say "they have discontinued production on this item so we can not recieve this product. we will update out catalog soon..." BLAH BLAH) anyways, cant find one anywhere. not Autozone, Advance, O'Riley, online...nowhere. so if any one knows where to get one(preferably silver but not that big of a deal) let me kno please. (or an alternate solution...maybe a Weapon R intake which is the only compatible one i can find.? r they any good?) THANKS,
jonathan
BTW--> the product # is 21-565C

Reason: more info
ebay i hte best place to find intakes for these cars. thre are no more CAIs unless ya find one used. i havnt seen one on ebay in a LONG time. honestly most of us hve success building one ourselves. just buy a SRI and then ad extensions to make it a CAI.
for those of you that gave me either links to the AEM intake or autoanything.com...thanks. BUT...like i said , they are listed on almost every website but none of them have it( they all said that they order the intakes from AEM only when a customer orders them. they dont keep stock. ) and since this is the case, no AEM intake for me.
and to 2wickedtoyz ---> i went to spectre, dont have one for camry but i can get parts to build on. do you kno all the parts needed? i could just get the exact parts that the AEM had and replicate it...(if i knew what they were) does anyone know the part list that the AEM camry intake is made up of??thnks,
jonathan
Go to http://www.spectreperformance.com/#HOME like what Gino said. Click catalog, then select modular(this is the option for making you own intake).There isn't a model specific intake for the Camry at Spectre performance.You can source parts here for your CAI build with trdlife.

FWIW: if you go down this path of making something, be sure to take into account how far that engine moves under load as the plumbing needs to have lots of give unless you replace all your engine mounts with urethane.
Also, what do you stand to gain? Its about as cool as it gets in the nose of car beyond the engine bay. Plus stock filters are cheap and stay clean for descent period of time so the $26 for a new hose means you have extra time and money to blow on something else!

in my opinion cold air intakes are all the same, when you buy it in a kit, the tubing is precut for you and you get a nice heatshield but its gonna cost you at least 200 for a prefab kit.
what i did was go to my local autozone, bought a universal Spectre pipe that fit my throttle body and a cone filter that fit the piping, mated the two and put it on my car. works fine and didnt even have to trim the pipe to fit. only thing you are going to have to due is extend your o2 sensor to make it into the designated hole in the piping. total cost about $70. im in the works of making a heat shield too.
or
Weapon R makes kits im sure that fits the Camry. ive seen a couple go on ebay that were in good condition for 60-80. im not sure but one specific model even comes with extra piping you can attach to the cone filter to run into your fender.
