try a local salvage yard. A hood will be less than $100 there. I see you're in Signal Hill, CA. There's a "Pick Your Part" salvage yard very close to you.
Some simple hand tool, and a friend to help you carry it, and you can have an OEM hood for cheap. You may even be lucky enough to find one the same color as your car.
Good Luck!

Cool. Will i be able to find a good enough hood for nice styling and fresh paint job? if not then i was thinking of just buying a new one.
Thank you.
Guillermo
They are out there... you just gotta look. You could always find one thats good cosmetically and get it painted.... seeing as you'd have to get a new hood painted too.

Don't buy a new hood. A new one will run any where from $300 to $500 depending on where you buy it. At the salvage yard I mentioned any hood will be about $40 with a $3 core charge. That's about a 90% savings over a new hood. You get the $3 back when you bring them your old hood. I'd go with a Toyota made salvaged hood any day, instead of a made in China/Taiwan/who knows where hood that may not fit right. If it doesn't fit right to begin with, it's going to need extra body work, which means even more money.
Salvage yard FTW.

If you do decide to go with an aftermarket hood from China, these people have some great prices. Can't comment on the quality and fit, but I did get a front side light lens there for a friend's 2000 Camry, and that part fit like a glove. Maybe someone else who has used them for body parts can comment about their quality.
Yes, yes, we all agree that a CF hood looks amazing. That's been duly noted. However, as far as I can tell, the OP isn't looking to spend several hundred on a CF hood(not yet at least), when he can get an OEM hood for around $50.
The savings can be put to better use on things the car may need maintenance wise.
