4th Generation Is this a Vac line?

http://www.toyotanation.com/photos/s...php/photo/7850
Just grabbed a pic from the gallery... Part in question are the blue lines and their associated 'stems' at the top of the picture, near the oil filler cap... I believe its a vacuum line of some sort.

My 5S-FE was hesitating strangely on quick acceleration from a stop (usually turning left) and I investigated the transmission and the throttle body for a while before I found one of these 'stems' was popped up about 1/2" off the block.

I pulled it out to figure out what it was and noticed it seems to be cracked a little in a few places... I kinda shrugged it off and put it back in place with a nice satisfying click feeling as it seated, but it has since worked itself loose again a couple times (over several months) - and always the same one.

A huge no-prize goes to anyone that can tell me what this is so I can get it replaced

those blue lines in that picture are actually NGK TE58 spark plug wires. if yours are cracked you should replace them all at same time (not literally of course), even better replace also spark plugs (NGK Iridium-IX or Laser Platinum) as well and make sure you have a fresh air filter in air cleaner box.
30k minor tune up also includes replacing the fuel filter.

Ah, so they are... I would have sworn the part in question was separate from the plugs, but I stand corrected... and that would certainly explain the hesitation.

Thanks for dealing with my stupidity way more politely than was probably deserved
