93 camry rear caliper bracket bolt frozen

Always one! Last bolt I need to get out before removing rotor and its a bitch. No lucks with sockets, the head is starting to strip. It's in a bad position, I can't get a hold of the it with visegrips. I sprayed it with a penetrating oil and tried heating it. I would take a chisel and hammer to try and move it but I really can't get at it. Here are pictures of the bolt. It has "7" on it.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I ran in to a similar situation when I had to remove the caliper bracket on my GMC pickup. The bolts were factory torqued to something like 133 ft/lbs. I used a breaker bar with a pipe about 18" long slid over the handle for more leverage to loosen it. In addition, I used a propane torch to heat up the metal surrounding the bolt but leaving the bolt cold hoping the expansion of the surrounding metal would loosen the grip of the threads. In any case, be patient and don't strip the bolt head.

Another thing that might work IF you can find a box wrench that can get in there firmly onto the bolt head is to make sure you are holding the wrench onto the bolt head so it won't slip and then firmly tapping it with a hammer. Works sort of like a poor man's slow motion impact wrench.

I heated the bolt a couple of times and no go. I'm going to pick up a socket that will grip rounded bolt heads and that should do the trick. I will post results....

I second the Irwin tool.
Craftsman has a rebranded version under the Bolt-Out name. They go on sale frequently for $10.

They work great. And unlike easy-outs, they don't snap off leaving a bigger mess.

Got the Bolt-Out kit at sears hardware for $15.00 (6 piece kit). Hi quality product, recommend everyone have a set.
Worked great getting the frozen bolt out. I wasn't careful enough and removing the bolt (came out on angle) and ruined the threads on the caliper bracket. Oh, well, got the bolt out and ordered a replacement bracket for $26.00 shipped from rockauto.
