So I'm thinking about this belt drive turbo adam's forcing into that nissan and wonder how fast they spin from them vs conventional exhaust gases. . .
Low an behold I find this (picture below) which brings back the good days of my first car A Chevy Corvair! I had the later model, the 65 w/ the 110HP it had 2 1barrel carbs. Later I put in different heads, designed for 4 1bbl carbs. An the the tarantula - mid size ram air intake with 1 4bbl feeding the heads until one day I found the my first Turbo! Supposedly that brought it to 180Hp. . .
But Ralph Nadder killed the poor little chevy saying it was death trap (engine in the back in all). Funny thing is, that car saved my life. . . Somewhere I have pictures of 60mph impact with an immovable object. Most would assume the driver died on impact or shortly there after. Car ABSORBED a whole of energy in the nose. . . Granted they had thing for coming about at high speed, kept ya on your toes. . .
Here's 64 with a 145c.i. engine fitted with a Turbo. It was rated at 150Hp.
GM was ahead of the game but the world wasn't ready in 60's!
