3rd & 4th Generation (1992–1996 & 1997–2001)Toyota Camry Discussion for years: 1992-1996 & 1997-2001
Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
I have searched the forums and I have Googled every which way trying to see if it is possible to swap the 3rd row seat from one camry wagon to the other. I have a 92 wagon without the seat and I need the extra seating capacity for kids. There is a 94 wagon parts car across town with the seat.
Does anybody know if it is possible to swap these seats out along with the additional paneling for the seatbelts and inside door handle? If it is possible, is there a writeup out there that Google cant seem to find?
I've been waiting for this question to appear since I knew a camry wagon was made. Sadly, I have no idea.

Did some research... check out page 951 (21/23) and note the part number differences. Also, I believe the wagon with third row seating had a space saver spare as opposed to the 2 row wagon which had a full size. http://www.**********s.com/camry/gen3_part_list.pdf

it is possible to do so. you'll need the seat bracket and paneling to do so. what color interior do you have? if it's grey we can trade paneling, i have a 3rd row.
i'm modifying my trunk so i don't need the spare tire part. pm me if your interested.

hey...speaking of this, i need the spare tire cover for my wagon. i have tan interior. i have looked EVERYWHERE!!!! cannot find one. do you know any1 that does? or do you have one? tan/brown
I have an 95 wagon and it has a compact spare. You also need to consider the safety belts. I suspect that a lot of the interior trim will need to be replaced or modified. As it turns out, we only used it a few times.

I'm getting ready to try this. I have one nice wagon with no 3rd seat and one beat up one that my wife doesn't like to ride in with the 3rd row. Is this going to be difficult to swap? Thanks
