You should have gotten these...

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/91-92...#ht_797wt_1165

They already have the brackets attached. I bought a set about 3 years ago, and they still work like new. The only thing missing is the attachment point for the wire harness on the driver side is not there(at least for me it wasn't). A little RTV adhesive/sealant, and problem solved.

Did my struts too, got off ebay for about $30. Had the same problem with the wire harness bracket, new strut didn't have it. I took a hammer and chisel and popped the bracket off the old strut, straightened it in a vise and reused it.

I dont think i can do this i guess. cause when i took off the bracket connect to the frame,

The connector on the bracket n the strut broke off cause i guess it was so old.

so im left with the bracket that has the metal rod coming off it, Seems like its ripet in or something. I dont think it can come off.

I know what you're trying to say, and I don't want to sound like an ass, but the term is rivet, not ripet. I think I have OCD about spelling.
