3rd Generation passing and fun to drive factor!

I have got a 92 camry with the 5SFE engine in it and i would like to get anouther 20-30hp out of the engine with out going turbo or tearing the engine apart. I currently have done a 3'' CAI, custom grounding kit, basic tune up: cap, rotor, plugs and a new coil. I have a stock exhaust a new baby so dont want to make it too loud was considering removing the resonator and maybe building a header for it if there was a flange available online. Ive looked around for parts and DIY mods and was hoping there was a few sites i have been able to find yet you guys know of. Im just looking for a little more fun to drive and passing power. I have a few other mods suspension mods and 17'' rims with 215/45ZR17 front and 235/45ZR17 rear just had them so thats the current location i am aware its FWD!

not really man, unless you buy megasquirt and build a ecu yourself with fuel trim and ignition timing then maybe but if you looking to get power out of a 5s, your going to have to pay to play. alot of people say it isn't worth it, it truely isn't but other like to take the challenge. Red_T_Swiftcam is building a 5sfte as we speak, and I trying to save up to build a 5sfte myself, we both are taking different routes to do this but anything can be accomplished if you really want to do it.

My 328Ci has enough pep to beat Mustang GT's. Just get a manual if you want the maximum fun to drive factor.

Well... a 328Ci is quite a different animal than the ECO 318i... That's apples and oranges for sure. My son has an E36 M3 and it's a sweet car.

Tis true. But then again, the 318 was the E30 and E36 models. The E46 was offered in no smaller than a 323 in the US. There is a 320 offered in Europe.

But anyways, OP if you really want a bit of peppyness and something fun to drive, then look into a sports car. MR2's are nice.
