20"s on a Gen 4.5? Done... Kinda... w/ Pics

Well I got these in a trade from a friend. He had them on an I30.

I took them, I was gonna put them on my Crossover SUV but the tires were way to small. So I tried them on the Camry. They are 20x8.5. They have 245/35 tires on them They fit, no rubbing on the struts, mainly because of the offset. But they stick out pretty far, about 3/4 of an inch past the fenders. I don't wanna put fender flares on it. I just wanted ot show what they looked like. Flame away as you like, I really didn't care for them but it's at least possible. On full lock ther fronts lightly reubbed the plastic inner fender.

I put my original 09 Camry 17"s back on though.

On a side one in two of the pics, you can see my Sunfire GT Vert that I temporarily swapped the sideskirts over from. Just for all you non-believers.

Here are the wheels 20" BIGG Bill. They are for sale if anyone is interested.

Not really my cup of tea, but congrats on proving that it's possible . That's one hell of an offset!

If they were a 20x7.5 I think they would have fitted rather well with maybe a 235 or a 225 wide tire. This is just too much.

Perhaps on a Solara if someone wanted to bolt on some aftermarket fender flares they'd look great.

The problem is without a body kit to widen the front and rear bumpers, just fender flares would make it look rather stupid in my opinion. That and there is practically no room on the rear quarter to mount a flare.
