Just out of curiosity...
Is this engine a good engine to swap into a gen 3 camry? Iknow output is higher than a 5s-fe.
Is it possible?
Has anyone done it?
Does it make sense to do?
I know a place that is selling one with the tranny, ecu, harness, etc...for about $500.00

Don't tell me to do a search. Already did.

why..?

it's a 1.8 liter, compared to the 2.2 5s-fe..

i dont think it could really pull a camry, unless it was supercharged, and had torque in there....

and you'd have to rev it a lot..

and i think it only came in manual...

yeah it's like the 2zz-ge from the celica..

180 hp, but much less torque...

if you are looking for a high strung 4cyl engine to go in a camry, the 3sge is about your best bet... but if youre swapping a 3s motor might as well make it the 3sgte!
