Camry Black Headlights

Hey all,

Got a 1998 camry and I've looked at the forum about blacking out the headlights, but mine are a little faded and I was going to order some new ones anyways. but I found some pre-blacked out headlights on ebay already:

What do you all think about this on a gen 4 /w the clear corners?

Won't removing those lines in the lens mess with the light output somehow?

yes but you can use the DIY to open the lenses and paint them yourself

Thanks! What I'll do is order some new headlights since mine are faded, but I guess just practice on my old ones. Does regularity matte black rustoleum paint work or gloss?

you will have to use high gloss, and even then you will loose some light output over stock.
