Im in the same boat, I would go with the suspension first before doing the headers. Im planning on putting some KYB's with Eibachs on my 94 5s...the only reason i say do that first is because many people say headers, exhaust, intake aren't worth the money....even though i am still considering doing it to mine. You'll probably have more fun with the new suspension first.

But do you notice at least a small gain with the intake+exhaust set up?????

with the universal muffler...i did after it had gotten "broken in" to the car...

the intake...right away...as soon as i finished installing it...u could feel a difference...the difference came in the low end...

I disagree. Lowering, then wheels. An offset/width that works at stock height, may not work when the car is lowered.

Wheels are aesthetic, suspension will actually make a difference in handling. That's like repainting a wrecked car.

I disagree as well, I would take care of the suspension first. Given that it's an 11 year old car, the suspension probably needs needs a refresher

I believe the wisdom is that plus sizing wheels also takes it's toll on a suspension, and doing so on and old suspension is not the best idea (correct me if I'm wrong here anyone).

As far as the intake goes, I just modified my stock setup. I took the resonators out of it and modified the inlet tube on the bottom of the box. It makes more of a difference in sound than power. It sounds more aggressive than it is, but I'm sure the better flow will help a little bit even if it isn't noticeable. As for the exhaust I haven't changed it on my camry, but unless you're ditching your cat and running a high flow muffler you aren't going to have a difference. However a better header, intake, and full exhaust can gain you a good ten horses or so.

One thing I would highly recommend is to get quality struts and springs if you're using lowering springs. I had tein lowering springs on my accord and some standard grade monroe or some basic brand shocks and they blew pretty quick and had a lousy ride. I got some kyb gr2's, which aren't top of the line by far, but are better quality than monroes and they rode much better. Cheap ebay springs are going to give you a terrible ride too. Go with a brand that has enough money behind them to do decent R&D.

I disagree with wheels being only aesthetics. When you got some low profile tires, you can handle corners alot better without any tires folding.

Suspension then rims, IMO.

its not bad, but its better to get the ride height set so you can choose a perfect looking and sized set of wheels.

Suspension first. What pojecktvertx said is true. Your driving a 11 year old car and the suspension is about to be at its end soon probably. Changing all 4 corners will show improvement in handling, which IMO is a big difference. Headers on the other hand aren't really worth it atm; it may sound better, and give you a couple more horsepower, but whats the point? Your driving a 4cyl w/ 135hp.
