ok i got a 92 automatic toyota camry.. Every time i start my car and i shift from D to R or R to D... it shifts so hard.. I recently changed my transmission, and all my engine mounts... It can't be the transmission because i've been having the same problem before i switched out the transmission.. SO any other suggestions?

How about the "dog bone" or engine torque strut mount that's on the passenger side strut tower? It looks like:

Any crack > 1/8" you should replace it.

Also, what's the engine's idle RPM?

I had the same problems with my camry when it was automatic. So i slapped a new tranny in it same problem spent a bundle on mounts, same problem... In my case it was the tranny both times. The hub for the O/D is poorly manufactured and is notorious for failing. Hopefully this is not your problem.
Check the trans cable under the hood next to throttle cable. It can be adjusted for harder shifting. There is DIY in the threads at the top of the main page on how to adjust it. Maybe thats your problem??
(Check fluid? is it good)

What about the engine RPM when you feel this rough shift? Is it something like 700 rpm or something like 1200 rpm, for example?

If all mounts are new, the engine RPM is around 600-700 and it shifts very hard, then look at the transmission linkage from the throttle body. Make sure it is adjust correctly so the ATF line pressure won't be too high internally.

If this linkage is adjusted correctly, the rpm is low, and it still does this, then do a line pressure check. If the pressure is in range, then an accumulator is probably leaking.

Cause when my trannys went out it felt fine in gear while i was driving (such as 1st 2nd and so on..) It was only going into reverse or from there to Drive that it hit hard. Try to get your car on an incline. So the front end is pointing uphill and see if it does it then. I noticed on mine that if i was on a hill or incline the hard shifting was not as bad an somtimes wasnt even noticeable but in drive ways and flat areas it was horrible..

But as JOHN said check that linkage.
Maybe even do trans flush check fluids for metal shavings that will tell ya real quick.
