1999 Camry Wierd Radio Issue

OK. So basically I bought my first car last year and it's a 1999 Camry. The radio is a Radio/Cassette/CD Player and has always worked fine. A few months ago i had a cassette-mp3 cassette in the tape player and it always worked fine. I just plugged my iPod into the wire from the cassette and it worked.

However, one day I was playing music, then turned my car off. Later when i turned it back on, neither the radio nor the cassette player worked. When I hit the tape button it would go to tape, but it wouldn't play and I couldn't eject the tape. Same thing with radio, I could scan the stations and go to any one of them, but nothing would come out of the speakers. I thought I blew a fuse but when I check them they were fine.

The weird thing is that my CD player works fine with normal volume levels of the music. I can play any CD, but neither the tape or radio functions work. Any ideas?

P.S. I searched the forums before posting this but didn't find anything. So if I missed something I'm sorry.

-Mike

my guess, your tape adapter is still in cassette player, but not in the right position because you hit eject button, that is why both of those 2 things don't work and only CD works

If I was you, I would go buy a Pioneer or Sony XPLOD and say hell with it
