I believe it's supposed to come off after all the bolts have been removed. The bolts are at least a few mm away from the exhaust or the sub-frame.The spark plug gap is supposed to be 1.09 mm based on the service manual.

Remove the engine undercovers using a ratchet, extension and socket. Then Detach the front exhaust pipe from under the engine using a breaker bar and socket Remove the engine mounting center. Take off the end stiffener plate from the rear side of the engine oil pan. Loosen and remove the oil pan bolts. If need be cut the oil pan gasket sealer from the sides. Sorry if iv missed anything
