A/C Issue...96 Camry - Toyota Nation Forum : Toyota Car and Truck Forums

Just replaced Compressor, Condensor and Evaporaor on 96 Camry with 173K miles.
Car runs great, impeccably serviced. Issue since doing this A/C work is a lazy Return-To-Idle with A/C engaged. Behaves perfecly normal without A/C on. Annoying because car wants to creep for a few seconds when coming to a stop wit A/C on, no issue with A/C off. All else is perfect.

New Compressor is OEM Denso.

Yes, I'm aware that 1K is fast idle level. My point is the idle
is lazy in returning to 1k level when coming to a stop with A/c
engaged. Moreso than before I did all the work mentioned. Eveything
else is normal without A/c engaged. Mechanic said something about
new compressor being of higher pressure than old worn out compressor
confuses the computer. That confuses me!
