4th Generation '00 Camry questions, tune up, brakes.

Hey all, I drive a 2000 Toyota Camry LE 2.2L I4 Automatic with about 104k miles. So far its been good but a few things have come up.

1. Brakes are squealing so it's time for new brakes, now I have this one problem with the brakes. When I am braking to slow down or stop and hit a bump or a crack in the road, the car will feel like it's leaping forward and then I would here a weird sound like ABS module test sound. It's quite scary when it happens and I'm trying to stop. Anybody know why it's doing this? This has happened even before the brakes started squealing.

2. When I am at a stop light, the cars rpm will bounce a little and I will hear a plastic rattle coming from the hood. I think its the air box vibrating and hitting the body under the hood? But can't determine why the rpm is bouncing.. this happens most of the times but some times it's fine.

3. When I am accelerating, I hear this metallic rattling sound coming from under the car, any answers as to what that is?

4. When I go over bumps on the road, i feel like the rear end is loose? It's hard to describe but i hear a thunk kind of sound. I'm thinking its the spare wheel but not sure. Maybe it's time for new shocks?

5. Since my car has reached over 100k miles, I'm told it's time for a tune-up. What should/does this tune-up consist of and what parts are needed? How much does it typically cost?

6. I bought this car used with about 65k miles some 3 years ago so it didn't come with owner's manual, anyone know where I can download one online?

7. Since it's time for new brakes, What kind of pads do you guys recommend? What about rotors? Mine seem to be warped, when I brake from highway speeds, it tends to shake the steering wheel. Where can I get these parts? Is the install hard?

8. I also need new wipers. Seems these days, cars are coming with the frame-less wipers, does Toyota have them for their cars where I can get the OEM ones and just refill the blade instead of replacing the whole unit? I know Honda has them haha

Thanks for reading my long list of problems/questions. If you have any recommendations for me to keep this car running longer, it'd be greatly appreciated Are there any websites to get toyota related car parts?

For brake pads, Akebono ProAct, Bendix CT3 are my recommendations. For rotors, Brembo plain face -- the kind with no grooves or holes in them.

Brake change is very easy. Your first time doing it, you'll probably spend 1 hour per side.
You need tools to lift the vehicle and remove the tire. The caliper is attached with two 17mm bolts - undo those and the rotors should pull off.

This is a newer model, but basically the same procedure
DIY Front rotor replacement and Centric ring install

I would grease the slide pins and back of the pads though with something like CRC Brake grease.

Have you changed the timing belt and coolant recently?

Timing belt could be as much as $500 but some people here said they've had it done for $200.

You have struts all around; no shocks on these cars.

2. I agree with checking the vacuum lines for a leak

3. Sounds like one of your heat shields near the exhaust is loose.

4. The rear end "breaking loose" is almost definitely your struts being blown out.

7. You can get brake parts for that car at any local parts store.

And when I do a tune up I do the plugs, wires, dist. cap and rotor (but the 2000 model might be distributorless), air filter, fuel filter, and pcv valve.

Fluids and timing belt have diff. change mileage intervals. If you've never flushed the trans I don't know that I would after 100k, I'd just drain and fill. Timing belt only needs to be done about every 60k.
