Just Installed Strut Bar...suspension Seems To Be "moving" Alot...help??

Ok so i just finished installing my new front strut bar (pics comin soon)...

as i was driving it...the driver side suspension...keeps makin noises like the strut is loose or something. I made sure the nuts were tight. I plan to take the tire off tomorrow to check if i see anything wrong.

I have no idea what it could be, i dont know if its the brakes, the tire, the strut no idea.

Has this happen to anyone, or am i just thinking to much into it??

How many miles? It;s a somewhat normal thing if high miles. It;s not likely anything you did (if it is indeed the mount). Are the struts original too?

At 148k miles, your struts are pretty much there for decoration, haha. They need to be replaced. And I ALWAYS recommend to replace the front/rear mounts and front bearings with the struts. Save up and replace it all. You'll be happy in the end.

Did you torque them down to spec? New nuts or reused old ones?

The nuts are self-locking. And after removal I don't think they're much good. But put a torque wrench on it and see if they have loosened.

You can check the torque and see if they've come loose.

Tightening should be easy because with all wheels on the ground just loosen and then re-torque. (The final step of torquing suspension components is usually done with the full weight on the ground.)

I'd put a dab of medium strength threadlocker (Like Permatex Blue) on the threads even if you use new self-locking nuts.
