94 Camry. How to replace rear driver strut?

I have a Camry LE 94. Can someone please guide as to how to replace the rear driver side strut?

Any cheap sources for new struts? I am tired of using salvage yard struts. They fail within one year.

drop the back seats remove the high mount stop then the back deck you see where the top bolts, jack the car up remove the wheel, 2 bolts holding the strut from the hub, then the 3 top bolts, reverse

that would be for swapping the whole strut assembly, right?

yup, search on here you the strut rebuilding if you go that route, buying the quick strut is most of the time the best unless you want a sportier feel where you need to assemble your self

For the rears the Monroe Quick Struts are available. They're on rockauto.com for about $160 plus shipping. TN members get 5% off. And they carry a lifetime warranty (purchased after 1/1/2010). Which means it may be worth it to buy at a local parts store honoring that. I like Autozone's no non-sense LLT warranty return policy.

A shop shouldn't charge more than $50-60 per corner to swap out struts. See if you can negotiate a deal for all corners. You may need an alignment after that however. Another $60 or so.

So how much are you paying for salvage yard assemblies?
