3rd & 4th Generation (1992–1996 & 1997–2001)Toyota Camry Discussion for years: 1992-1996 & 1997-2001
Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
We can start this project within the next 3 weeks. We have a donor vehicle thanks to PHI and would ideally like to kill 2 birds with one stone.
The camry trunks are ready to start next week. Having the entire car at our disposal means we can also start on the hoods; granted the demand is present.
The process for the hoods will be exactly the same as the trunks. If you need pics, email me and I will supply you with more than enough angles.
I only want serious inquiries, If you are not planning on getting one, then don't respond, there is 3 weeks and little time to waste. I need to know if this project is a go or not.
Price will be as follows:
Invader style hood: $675 U.S shipped anywhere in Canada and continental U.S.A
OEM style hood: $600 U.S shipped anywhere in Canada and continental U.S.A
I absolutly 100% am in, and want one of these hoods, but there is absolutly 100% no way that I can pay for a hood while concurrently paying for a trunk. If this could begin after the trunks are done and paid for .......
I have a feelin' this is everyone else's view also, yes/no?
Originally posted by PAKFEIFER We can wait of course, but in order to organize this properly i need to guage wether or not there will be enough interested.
If so, I'll start the process to avoid any delays later on.
Deposits are not required, just a show of interest.
I contacted PAKFEIFER about with the idea because many of you said who wants a cf trunk without a cf hood. I would love to have product matched quality products on my car.
I'm IN. I was picking up an eom type from VIS in May so i figure I might as well get an invader type from you. Please email me pics galore! oh and specs (full materials and process) would be great since i wasn't part of the CF trunk buy i'm not sure fo your production process. Thanks man, this should be a great product!

pakfeifer, when I originally contacted you, not sean, you said you would be able to do the hood cheaper than sportivo was willing to do them... Im not trying to be cheap here, but I dont have a second job yet and im only making like 250 a week. The sportivo price was gonna be 575 without shipping... when you told me you would be able to do them cheaper, i figured it'd prolly be 600 shipped from you guys...
again, im not trying to be a bitch about this, i just wanna get a good deal, since we basically told sportivo he was out of a job of 10 CF hoods to give the business to you...

We need a minimum of 10-15 orders.
Lets see a show of serious buyers.
That's only $100 dollars more. With that, your getting a hood, packed with stilts, bubble wrapped and sealed up nicely in a thick box. SHIPPED anywhere in continental northamerica Maybe even free hoodpins ...we'll see if it fits in the box.
anyways... i guess that is a fair price... you know im down either way, but i gotta get the damn money first...... when are we gonna start taking payments... and pak, if you are interested i can take payments for you on paypal. i have done that for the stainless steel brake line group buy, and i have an excellent rating on ebay.
haha, i was only asking because i'm wondering if he ever DID get the materials and mold to make it, and maybe he could sell the mold to pakfeifer, so the cost can be lowered...
