It doesn't show the part numbers, but I think these are what you're looking for...

^ nice illustrations there U!

I can't imagine those going bad to a point of the whole thing moving and causing issues. (That's not to say they can't, but other parts are more likely) I'd get another opinion as $400 to replace those is FLAT OUT CRAZY!

He must be quoting you other parts too (hope so). Did he describe any of the parts in that diagram?

Was this car ever wrecked real bad in the rear? As in Frame Shop for repairs?

are you sure its not the stabilizer arm bushings that are bad? those cab go bad over time and will lead to similar problems. i believe they are also dealer only items and are a bit expensive.

thanks again, highly appreciated.

OK - #14 and #15 are the bushings for the sub-frame isolation.

How did this person test them? What did you see? What did they do? I only ask as I hate to see someone be $$$taken$$$!

They are supposed to be soft and basically absorb noise and vibration however w/a large enough pry-bar anything will move given enough force.

Dealer or wrecking yard as its basically a non-wearing part. Dealer has the PN, why that one couldn't figure that out, IDK!

EDIT:
Hindsite on repalcement if they are bad. I bet it could be done in an hour.
-jack and support car body leaving rear wheels touching ground
-jack and support rear subframe
-remove giant bolts
-pry on exhaust, knock chunks in eyes
-lower subframe a few inches
-pry biscuits out
- ** reverse procedure**
-install and snug bolts
-measure AND CONFIRM subframe is square to chassis, for aft, side side, perform diagonal measurement.
-tighten giant bolts
-lower car
- have toe in checked/adjusted

used biscuits, like $40 at the bone yard Where the 400 comes from is crazy. 300 wheel alignment?
