A few months ago i got my timing belt replaced along with the water pump. Well a few weeks ago when i would first start my car after being off for a while and then turn on the a/c some belt would start squeeling and would stop as soon as i turned off the a/c so i know it's a belt that has to do with the a/c. anyone know which belt it is?
thanks!!

if your car is '97 Camry 4cylinder then you need this belt: 90080-91122-83
they are good quality, they won't start getting loose and longer and longer (and snap at some point) after as little as 3-4 months which is common to cheap aftermarket belts. OEM belts are either Mitsuboshi, Bando or something else i forgot.
I got Bando last time ordered from them (it's so cheap than it wouldn't make sense to get good brand belt from autozone for $22!!).

Since the timing belt was replaced recently and if it were the alternator belt, you might want to inspect it for loose, stretchiness, not put on properly...etc. In order to replace your timing belt, the alternator and the belt are removed.
When repalcing the timing belt most shops would also try to sell you on replacing the 2 accessory belts at the same time. Were these 2 belts replaced when the timing belt was changed? If so, one or both of the belts has stretched out a bit and is now loose. This is very common. They may simply need to be retightened. If you are not sure if they were replaced at that time, I would check your receipt.
I hope you're joking, you never ever spray any petroleum based product on a belt.
+1
if you want to check if it is the belt, do it the old school way. Rub a bar of hand soap on the belt. I've done this on my 89 'yota pickup, my Grand dad's '66 Malibu, and my '65 Mustang. Works every time, but it's only works for a short time, maybe a day or two. With this method, you'll at least be able to confirm belt slip.
