Opinions Wanted on a Solara Convertible
Right now I've got a 2000 Camry LE, 6cyl, 4-door and I'm thinking of getting something a little newer. The car has been great, has over 215,000 miles on it and has been the most dependable car I've ever owned. And all the guys here in this forum on ToyotaNation have helped me keep it running like the day I bought it. But I think it's time for a change.
I wanted to stay with a 2005-2006 model year since it is basically the same layout as I have now so all the stuff I've learned here on ToyotaNation could be easily transferred to the new car. I really don't care for the 2007+ styling at all so I want to stay with the 2005-2006 year.
I had my eye on the Solora Convertible just for a change of pace. Maybe I could keep the LE as a daily driver, and just have the Solora for tooling around town in good weather. I once had a convertible, a long, long, time and from what I recall it was fun in the summer, not so much fun in the winter. But I'm sure the convertible tops are much better now.
I realize that this question might be in the wrong forum, but since I've been hanging around here for such a long time, I trust all you guys input.
Besides I don't know anybody over in the Gen 5 forum anyway.
So chime in with your opinions, all are welcome.
Thanks,
