3vz-fe tuning

i was kinda wondering how could i get more upper rpm power and not lose to much low-end torque? i think the stock cams are good and all but they die off so quick its not even funny. anyone know how i can find a balance between the two?

the acis can be ported and give better all around power, or removed at the lost of lowend a little and increased the high end

^ what he said. its hard to have one and not the other on an NA car. but i even did it to my 1mz and noticed a little bump all around, not as much as can be had with the 3vz but it worked. you can also adjust the timing slightly and that will also improve power through out the rpm range.

try searching out toysrme's cheap/free mods.

did all that and its helped out. but it falls flat on its face harder then it used to before i did the mods (idk) i'll give that acis porting a shot. some GE heads would do wonders though.

well then you may have hit the cheap/free 3vz wall. next step is straight up tuning with a piggy back so you can adjust fuel trim in higher RPMs.

maybe so. cause if you watch the video i couldnt even get to 6000rpms. i mean engine life wise thats cool but when i had my 95 es300 i could do that all day.
